How much extra do trader car dealers add to the price of a used car? can i haggle?
Always try to haggle the price, especially older cheap cars. The dealer just want to make a quick profit and get the car off his forecourt. I would look the car over very carefully. Look for any reason to drop the price. Bodywork condition, is the any leaks under the bonnet, get under and have a good look, interior, tyre ware, is the spare ok, and is the factory tool kit with it. Remember its a buyers market out there at the moment, and he wants to sell that car. After you have checked the car over , don't look to bothered offer 600 and dangle the cash in front of his face. If you can't get a good deal, walk away. He will probably call you back if he see's the cash in your hand. Believe me I have done it a hundred times.
