Should Democrats vote out, or restore the old filibuster rule?

The filibuster rule has been used by both parties to block unpopular rules. What they gain today could become their death when the Republicans eventually win a majority. I would prefer no action rather than divided action. Without the filibuster the Democrats could p a health care bill today and have the whole thing scrapped at tremendous cost in just 2 years. With the filibuster rule Social Security has lasted over 60 years even though it has always been opposed by the Republicans.
