Is it me or does the Constitution of the United States have a small error?

I was reading it and i came across something in the preamble that didn't make sense to me, it said "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a MORE PERFECT UNION". I read this and i thought wait a minute that can't be right, is it even possible to be more perfect, doesn't perfect mean something like "which is so good that nothing of the kind can be better"(Wikipedia) or being complete, how can anything or anyone be better than the possible limit of greatness or completion. Some people say that it means to make the country more unified than it was before, but why use the words more perfect or even perfect, im pretty sure it, like everything else was never anywhere near perfect.
