Ipod help Please.?

well i have a ipod video and it did the same for me when my friend plugged his in maybe if you have windows xp go to control panel then add or remove programs after that uninstall itunes and if u still have the cd to put itunes on the computer load it back up and then put all your songs back to itunes or maybe after you remove itunes from you r computer plug your ipod in and see what happens sorry if this was confusing good luck!
