I'm so scared of roller coasters... What does it feel like?

I used to work at a theme park and I ride them ever day I go to work. What it feels like to be on a roller coaster depends on the person. The first drop is the only thing that scares most people after they p that the rest of the ride is nothing but excitement and fun. on giant drops you should scream. Screaming actually help you breath while your going down. basically when going down a drop your body is almost floating, and so is the stuff inside you "water, stomach acid, food etc." this is my guess but the air in your lungs is effected as well. it rises up your lungs almost like it's hard to breath. so you scream to let the air out and not have that feeling of not breathing. on drops that turn or twist "like batman the ride and others" you don't feel it as much as a straight drop with not turns. Loops should be the least of your problems, when going through one the gravity actually keeps you in your seat. the big loops might make you feel weightless at the top though. trust me, go on a roller coaster that's the tallest and highest in the park or if your not up to it just go on a ride that's maybe the second tallest and has plenty of loops. the best part of roller coasters is the wind in your face. the weightlessness you feel on top of a hill (airtime) also if your still scared of maintanence and stuff like trains getting stuck on loops don't worry the park would'nt want that to happen so they take extra precaution into testing out the rides even before the park opens. If some stuff do happen that would be bad for the park so they'll try everything to prevent that... All I can say is breath in deep and scream your lungs out and have fun...oh and never close your eyes...you'll be more proned to motion sickness.

Could breakthrough bleeding on the pill be something else?

I have been on birth control for over a year and a half, and for the past year on the same one. My period came on Dec 24 when it would usually come on the 23 which got me a little worried. It only lasted a day and a half but it usually lasts about 4 days. It was also extremely light. It is now Jan 7 and I have had breakthrough bleeding since yesterday. I know people say it cant be done as we we would have too many soldiers than we could handle. but why not shorten the mandetory reqirement to like 2 months training ten months active duty. in this way it would remain managable i feel. also since women can not serve in combat roles in the military already it would not be necessary to include them in this requirment. The feeling of adrenaline can be almost like a high I guess since you get that rush from it. I've gotten that feeling too so your not alone on this. Basically, I think it's how you control it instead of it controlling you. Could be pretty hard but you should start to try and control those sudden impulses or at least try to redirect them into something else. If you can't control them and it starts to become a serious issue in your life, I suggest getting help. Maybe a hypnotherapist or something so you can get rid of that habit.

Joining a white fraternity when half white half asian?

Unknown species of crustation please help?

I took a picture at work of a species of crustation which work is ping off as a "dragon shrimp". Upon further research it looks nothing like a shrimp. More like a mutated rolliepollie or "sow bug" its roughly a foot long and about the with of your hand. Compound eyes and a roughly 30 legs. yea so like many other men in the world, I'm one of the people who has hemorrhoids..I don't suffer from it since they don't hurt one bit or bleed..but it is a nuisance, and I can get colon cancer from them if I don't do anything, right? First of all, i'm a huge Packer fan but this Super Bowl (XLV) is really scaring me. The Pittsburgh Steelers are an excellent team with a ferocious defense and most importantly, Ben Roethlisberger. I know we (Packers) have Aaron Rodgers, but I just think the lack of a running game and the inexperience factor is going to catch up during the Super Bowl. I have tendinitis in my right knee from running track. I had physical therapy and cortisone shots. I wasn't able to even jog (not run... jog) for 4 weeks and then after that it went to a light jog, only able to do 1/2 mile per day (docs orders) and then about another 2 1/2 weeks before I could actually run on it. Why is my coach acting like this toward me?

I have been twirling for 6 years. i join this new group 2 years ago. my old coach started up a new group. You may have. I have it and it runs in my family. It is not like a leg cramp it is more like fidgety feelings you just can't keep still. I have had it for years and it can come anytime and keep you awake for hours on end. Pillows don't help, walking around doesn't help. There is a new med out for restless leg syndrome. I haven't tried it, but it might be worth a shot. I have had a many asleepless night because of this. Get with a doctor or try over the counter medication first and see if that brings any relief. Lexus ran into water?

The car ran into a puddle of water that was pretty deep. It died out and now wont crank. The front is low and the back exhaust was not submerged. Once the car died no it wont crank over. When you try to crank it the starter just clicks. Sounds like a bad starter or solenoid. I checked the oil and theres no water in there and the water wasnt high enough to enter the car so what are my major concerns???

My advice is that every one of you that have received a message, call your local non emergency and print up the emails and give them to the police, and say you would like to press charges, and report to yahoo abuse, that way he will have multiple cases against him. They will also give you a case number and the private investigator that will be on the case, and all you have to do is print up any more mails sent, or any more posts on forum, and when yahoo abuse gives you they're name, you can give it to private investigator, which will then be used when charges are set up.

How do I get videos I upload to work on Windows Media Player?

I'm trying to make a DVD, but I can only make videos work if they are from windows media player. I've uploaded videos from my camera (it's just a regular camera), but they refuse to play with Windows Media Player. It's all black, but the sound works. They'll work with VLC media player, but the dvd maker won't except videos from VLC. All the videos from everyone else's cameras works on Windows Media Player, why won't mine? Is there a way I can make them work with WMP?

This is a big problem and could result in the axle breaking. You should deal with it ASAP. However the complete shaft will probably cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 and can be difficult without proper tools. Best bet on the cheap, save up, buy the parts, and find someone with tools to help you.

Well, i have come to the conclusion before, that God has created us because he didnt want mindless robots to love him because they had no choice. So he created something that had a choice to love him. Priests i have talked with agreed with me that that must be the motivation behind our existence and our free will. I find this news a bit odd. In all my years as a dog owner it is rare for a dog to attack its owner. More than meets the eye to this. I want to plana drive to the Herlong Federal prison from the bay area. I do not like driving thru mountains, and want to limit it as much as possible. That way is like going to Reno, and I knmow the mountains going thru Reno, but I really don't like them anymore. Google maps also shows 2 other options 1. is to take I-80 to highway -20 which goes to Yuba City, then gets back on I-80 asnd you still go thru the same mountains for Truckee and Reno. The last way is I-80 to 20, and staying on 20 all the way. This way bypes Reno and Truckee. It takes about 45 minutes more. This appears to be the only alternative to the mountains on the way thru Truckee.Does anyone know if there's other mountains on this route? If I casn avoid them saltogeth, I dont mind driving longer. I need some help? I keep hearing things, and my parents won't help me?

I try to take good care of my hair. I wash it 1-2 times a week, i condition it, I make sure i spray a light oil sheen on it to keep it mosturized, I get my ends trimmed and I wrap it everynight. Why does it hurt so bad?

Why does it hurt so bad not to have love shown to you? I don't know why I am still with my husband. Dec. 1st was our first wedding anniversary. Some lady hit my car on drivers door at 50 mph. I’m ok but my cars door is bent in, side air bag is inflated and front will is bend….
