Best way to get him? (HELP NEEDED)?

ok theres this guy that ive been completely infatuated with for a few years now. weve been friends for about 4 years, and he liked me the whole time but i didnt know it until i already had a boyfriend. i found out he was gunna ask me out but i met a guy and skrewed that all up. he doesnt know that i used to like him/ still do i kno that the attractions still there, but i want to know some good tips/ideas on how to let him kno how i feel without coming right out there and saying it/being TOO obvious since were almost starting over again? and good ideas on how to be subtly lt him kno/ideas on how to flirt and stuff without being wierd?
