Pasuquin,Ilocos Norte,Philippines?

I've lived in the Philippines for 3 years since june 2006 til' April 18,2009.im here in california now.during my first year at this school call INAC (Ilocos Norte Agricultural College),i was getting heka attention.lots of ppl knew me (probably bcoz it was a small town) and i had a few guy stalkers at some times.guys wud call me beautiful even tho im not.lots of people wanted to b my friend but i later found out they were being fake.i was part of the gossip for 1 year and it slowed down after starting 4th year highschool.i was also critizied bcoz i didnt kno how to speak ilocano even i been there for more than a year.what i want to kno is,is that normal for all outsiders???was i really friendless my whole time there or what?
