Romeo and Juliet Mock Trial?

In a mock trial for Romeo and Juliet I am defending Romeo. In this mock trial the prosecutor charges the Romeo with what ever he wants. One of the things Romeo is being charged with is possesion of poison( It is a real law). How can I defend this? If possible use specific quotes from the book.
